A real-life Monopoly board, Atlantic City has been a tourist magnet since 1854, and has flourished into the gambling capital of the east coast. The Atlantic City Boardwalk is where every visitor heads upon arrival to the city. The lifeblood of the city, it has casinos lined up along its length, dazzling in neon. For the non gambler there is Steel Pier, a historic amusement pier built in 1898 is located right next to the Boardwalk and features rides and games for children of all ages.
