Located 10 miles north of Atlantic City, the Noyes Museum of Art has a varietal collection of 19th to 21st century fine and folk art works, along with rotating exhibits featuring inventive pieces from around the globe. Permanent collections include: Works by Fred Noyes Jr., an eclectic collection of paintings portraying the range of his work from Post-Impressionism to early American modernist; Fine and Folk Art and Crafts, displaying 19th to 21st century paintings and sculptures of American art; and Vintage Animal Decoys, an extensive assortment of hand-carve wooden, porcelain and ceramic animals.
Current exhibits include: Reflections: A Presentation of Historic Watercolors & Works on Paper, featuring scenic watercolors of Pennsylvania and Atlantic City; Path of Cosmologies & Technology: The Collaborative Work of Antonio Puri & LiQin Tan, displaying an intriguing ensemble of abstract images; and Form & Function: Mathematics and Beyond in Contemporary Art, using analytical mathematics to create a collage of dynamic shapes.
