If you're looking to explore Atlantic City and its surrounding areas during your visit; there are plenty of sights and activities to discover along the way. Below are a few to get you started.

Atlantic City Trolley Tours
There are a number of ways to explore Atlantic City by tour. The Maritime Tour offers a scenic 1 hour cruise along the shore discussing maritime history, local marine life and the barrier islands, along with seafood hors d'oeuvres. (Mondays 10 a.m.) The Gingerbread Tour to Cape May brings visitors to the Washington Street Mall, the Cape May Winery to sample a few tasty wines, along with the opportunity to explore the abundance of souvenir shops and bistros. (Every other Thursday 10 a.m.) On the Grape Vines and Vintage Shopping leads visitors on a tour through the Renault Winery, where wine sampling is offered. Also included is a ticket to the Noyes Museum, along with a stop off in the Towne of Historic Smithville. (Wednesdays 10 a.m.) Discover the Atlantic City Aquarium and Absecon Lighthouse on the Splash of Atlantic City tour. Also includes a stop over by Lucy the Elephant. (Tuesdays 10 a.m.)

Absecon Lighthouse
Offering incredible views of the Jersey shore since 1857, the Absecon Lighthouse is one of Atlantic City's unique wonders. Historically, it's the oldest man-made structure in all of Atlantic City. Visitors can climb to the top, and feel if they've been whisked into the upper stratosphere for a small $4 fee. Throughout the year various events are held such as: art shows, garden parties, wine tasting, golf tournaments and volunteer recognition dinners.
